Sizing
The Calyx is available in 3 sizes, Standard, Petite and Large. All in-stock Calyx Collections are Standard sized, Petite and Large are available by custom order. Clearanced Calyx carriers are longer than Standard and shorter than Large, more information can be found here.
Standard: This size will fit a person of average to heavy build, from about 5′3″ to 6′ tall. This is a good size to fit both mom and dad, and most people will be able to wear it comfortably.
Petite: If you are smaller than 5′3″, or particularly slender and under 5′6″, you may consider a petite Calyx. The shoulder straps have 2 inches of length removed from between the body of the carrier and the sternum assembly, which brings the baby’s weight closer to your body, keeps the sternum strap from being to low across your chest, and allows you to adjust the straps a little tighter.
Large: This size is good for big, tall dads and fluffy mamas who need the curvature of the straps to fall in the best place. The straps are 4 inches longer than the standard, added both above and below the sternum assembly. Also, the waistband has a bit more padding in the width, and longer webbing.
Mei Tai Carriers:
MBDs come in two sizes, Size 1 and Size 2. For carriers made April 2007 and later, the only difference is the length of the straps. Size 1 has 2 yard straps, and Size 2 has 2.5 yard straps, same as below. All of the waist padding is the same length, no matter what size carrier you have, 22 inches.

MBD carriers come in two sizes. The sizing depends on strap length and waist padding. The waist strap is one continuous piece which passes through the carrier body at the center. Where it passes through and a few inches on either side, there is padding. The waist strap is worn around the low waist/ top of the hip over clothes. All three straps are cut to the same length.
Size 1: Fits up to about a 14 or 16. 24 inches of waist padding, straps are cut to 2 yards (they lose some length with seam allowances and such)
Size 2: Can be worn by a 12 and up, 32 inches of waist padding and the straps are cut to 2.5 yards.
